Anima
An existentialist game that has little to explain but everything to show.
The product is an interactive experience. That is, it uses the mechanisms of a video game, including interactivity, to communicate something.

What a beautiful worldview... a very wonderful experience.
I am not an English speaker so I used OCR software to translate the text as I played, but the conversations with the people were very thought provoking.
I was a bit surprised especially when someone who was married, had children, and had lived an apparently happy life asked me if I was happy because I was just chasing a castle.
From an outsider's point of view, I might think the other person was happier, but for such a person, a life of chasing dreams might also be an object of longing.
Nevertheless, it was a good piece of work that made me think about what true happiness was and what life is all about.
I'm glad you liked it, but many people told me that the game is quite sad and melancholy. I sincerely wanted to express a concept then if you see sadness or happiness in it I'm only pleased because it means it makes you think.
This game's pixel art is impeccable..
thanks!
